I have seen the ‘Client Bill of Rights’ on the walls of many law offices and decided to copy that format to create a ‘Bill of Rights’ for attorneys dealing with title companies. You, the legal community, have a right to expect a level of professionalism and competence from those of us in the title business in the same way that your clients expect those qualities from you. This is what I created to address that:

Title companies are licensed by the state of New York to issue title insurance policies. Title agencies operate pursuant to a contract with one or more of these companies. Title premiums are uniform with both companies and their agents.
